Leave Any Time You Like

I’ve told you before,

There’s nothing tying us down

To any one place.

My car’s a beater,

But it’ll take us wherever we

Need to go.

You pick the tracks,

The back seat has a 72-count

Wallet with a profusion of CDs.

I’m an old school nineties boy,

Loving the sharp sound of those discs

Over anything digital.

This rust bucket is our starship Enterprise

And you’re my panoramic road trip lover.
