One If By

Escapism as a magical act,

Astonishing to the eye.

As a favorite pastime,

It astonishes the eye.

You can swim or soak,

Dive or plunge,

You can also just sip

At it and smile.

I’ll kelp a wig,

Catch a shooting starfish,

Whatever I may be,

Just give me more of the endless sea.
