Welcomed Dilemmas

Reading is the ultimate study guide for writing, that’s what I honestly believe. I’ve spent the last three years reading close to 300 books, in part for research, but also for the entertainment factor, and I’ve noticed that my writing style has become more concise and more me as a result. The challenge I face now however, is that when I do get a chance to sit down at my desk and write, there’s always the lingering desire to plop on the couch instead and sink into the whimsical trappings of a book. Does anyone else ever run into this issue? It’s not even so much an issue, as it is a welcomed dilemma.
