My debut novel The Dioramist is about a coming of age mid-twenties adult who has difficulty finding the traction in his life. As a result, he decides to take up journal writing as a means to channel his wandering thoughts (each journal entry beginning with a #). I’m starting this daily segment titled Daily Dioramist to mirror that single entry, stream-of-consciousness style writing. I hope you enjoy! If it interests you enough, be sure to stop by Amazon and purchase a copy of the full-length book, which is available in both paperback and ebook formats.
Frank Costello once said that he didn’t want to be a product of his environment. I could say the same thing because I really don’t want to end up being a recycled plastic bottle. Not yet anyway. Maybe in the next life, or the one after that.
