Day Out

We had breakfast at the local donut hole and took to the river walk so we could hail the next ferry boat into the city.

Funny how people always call it “the city,” ii’nt it? Which city are they referring to? Philly? The Big Apple? Tokyo? I guess it all depends on what’s in their close proximity. You and I live between two major US cities, so I guess if we call either one by that nomenclature, it’ll just lead to confusion. Might very well leave the recipient(s) to question the very same thing that we are right now. Life has so many layers.
