Chekhov’s Luna

(Photo taken by me)

“Don’t tell me the moon is shining; show me the glint of light on broken glass.”

~Anton Chekhov

No make
No model
No plates,
Only hanging
Orbs inside
Glare diminishing
Rear view
Mirrors. Twilight
Motorists getting
Where they’re
Going, where
They’ve never
Been, only
In daytime
Fever dreams.
