The problem with having too many books is that it has a tendency to make you frantic about what to read next. I generally read only one book at a time and I’ve tried the multiple book approach, but it never ends up working out for me. For some reason, I just can’t spread thin multiple books over a longer period of time, when I can just rip through one at breakneck speed from start to finish.

The goal isn’t to read quickly and get to the next one either. It’s to read, absorb, digest, and be moved. As it is always, right? But I have gotten to be a pretty speedy bookworm which makes working through the queue a lot easier.

On average, how many books do you read per year? Do you set reading goals or just go with the flow? If you have a GoodReads account you can find both my author and reader profile here if you want ever want to became book addict acquaintances and swap reads.
