Lately, I’ve had to wake up extremely early for work. I’m an early bird, so it’s not all that much added effort, but the long hours and days are draining for sure.
In a few weeks, my hours will be shifting to a schedule that is much more comfortable, while transferring to branch of my company that’s much closer to home. Very much looking forward to that!
It’s not always the easiest thing to be both a functioning creative entity and a career-driven person. There are only 24 hours in a day after all, so where does one find the time to consistently write, read, and enjoy all the other many aspects of an ongoing routine?
I manage these days with a writing schedule much better than I ever have, but the past few weeks have certainly been putting those skills to the test.
What is your writing routine like?
Do you find yourself cramming free time with television and entertainment of the like, or do you try to minimize distractions as best as you can?
