I awoke to bird tweeting and shuffling pillars of light glaring through the window. The trees just outside were tossing around back and forth, giving me momentary glimpses of what the outside day looked and felt like.
It was peaceful, truth be told.
Most people don’t like being woken up to light and birds and leaf friction, but it’s a brilliant Saturday and I deserve to be a part of it as much as anyone else.
