Coconut Cowboy is part Fear and Loathing, part road-trip comedy circa 1988, part Dexter serial killer shenanigans, all breezy, crass, and hardcore addictive. Apparently it’s part of a long-standing series (who knew at the time though, am I right? 😳) and gets progressively better with each entry. This is the only one that I’ve read. It’s utterly fantastic and I can’t bring myself to try for another yet. Picked up a hardcover copy of The Pope of Palm Beach (because it was gnarly looking and I adore sand particles complimented by salty smelling wave crests), which will be the next one I delve into, whenever I decide that time to be. Anyway, check it out if you’re even mildly a fan of at least two of the aforementioned book descriptions and then rave about it afterwards to all of your schoolyard friends – BPoM.

🙂 The title, “Coconut Cowboy” caught my attention. Also, Tim Dorsey is a fantastic author!
