We had torrential rains resulting from a summer storm system last night and I’d been driving back from a work trip in Virginia when the clouds began executing their plan for global (but only in our immediate area) rapture. It was one of those storm systems where the brightness of the day was extinguished by menacing superstructures in the sky, accompanied by loud thunderous crashing and bright exploding lightbulbs dancing along the lower atmosphere. Crazy storm, but the view from our balcony was spectacular. Because who doesn’t enjoy sitting out to admire the ever changing weather patterns of our Mother Earth?
