There are times when I’m writing and I think to myself, “is that really what you’re thinking when your fingers hit the keyboard?”. It reminds me that while I’m not too too much of an introspective overthinker, with regards to things in my own life at least, I repetitiously have those thunderstruck TNT moments where the idea begins to formulate and then the writing think tank simply spills out an end result into the phone or computer. Some fellow authors and reviewers have said that I write in a stream-of-consciousness style and it’s absolutely true. I love the off the cuff, on a whim, oooh look squirrel!, modern day comedic/dramatic impromptu route that my mind takes when translating preconceived thoughts into words. Can you relate to this? How would you describe your own writing style?
