Growing Up The Way We Did

Every generation has their memorable turntable of music. I grew up in the punk rock/ska, alternative years where timeless bands opened the floodgates and stole our hearts and minds. Being at what appears to be the final Warped Tour in Atlantic City yesterday was the most memorable music experience of my life and it was only the first day! Save Ferris, CKY, Andrew WK, The Pink Spiders, Good Charlotte…the lineup was incredible, the sun was blistering hot (and left a scorching red mark around the lower portion of my neck, severe weather drove us all off the beach and into Bally’s Wild West Casino for the better part of two hours before letting up and allowing us to return once again, but all in all everything was magical. Met and took selfies with a famous skateboarder by the name of Bucky Lasek (remember when, Tony Hawk Pro Skater fans?) and Jess Margera (Bam’s brother and insanely awesome drummer for CKY). To quote the famous Stevie Ray Vaughan,

When this house is rocking don’t bother knocking, come on in.
