Remember When

I knew when the last firework broke, I’d never see her again. It was one of those moments where two people collided and rejoiced for only a short while. I begged to question why a moment needed to remain so finite, but long before the memory of her eyes and hair sought out storage inside my intellectual archives, I had begun to understand that the world prescribed a way, and it was one that must be followed to a T.
