The first revision of ‘itty bits vol. 2’ is complete and I’m getting really, really excited (cue the sugar high level of a kid in a candy store). Sequels are fun to write and create, but a difficult entity. How does one expand upon original material that provides some sense of closure at the end?
Volume 1 is a collection, so there’s no story or arc, but it does present a feeling of conclusion at the end.
While my fiancée and I were romping around Universal Studios yesterday and waiting in the various ride lines (which were wonderfully short), I was editing, revising, digitally erasing, and adding content to Volume 2. It’s slightly larger than the original, with more hilarity, more philosophical metaphors and insights, and an flavorful double dose injection of heart and soul.
Coming out this month, keep your eyes peeled!
What’s everyone else working on these days?? I am desperately in need of some upcoming indie reads to preorder and purchase. Fill me in on the deets, I’d love to hear more about your own literary collections!
