Some kind and happy-go-lucky park attendant said from the not so far off distance, “this way for some cold, frosty beverages!” To which I said, “what way? I can’t hear nor see you.” I didn’t get any response, so I assumed that it was all just some crazy figment of my wanderlust mind.
My sandals flapped against the wet pavement as I walked over to the nearest food kiosk and asked the cashier for their finest, most memorable souvenir up.
People sure did look at me funny when I waltzed over to the glittering water and scooped up some volcanic serum that was flowing down from the high obtrusive rock, but even more so did I get zany glances when I plucked the head of a nearby flower, threw it on top of my perspiring cocktail, and walked away into the nearest tree line.
