Tomorrow, my fiancée and I will be heading back to New Jersey after a two week long romp around Orlando and Universal Studios.
It’s been an amazing trip and usually we fly down around this time for one week to do Halloween Horror Nights, but after us both having switched job roles recently we thought it made more sense to get the most out of 2019’s wind down months.
The weather has been brutally hot and only subsided yesterday for a short while, during the passing effects of a tropical storm system. We left the horror house and scare zone fun at Universal around 2:00am this morning and I can’t recall the last time I was ever so drenched from nonstop down pouring rain.
But regardless of the weather or the stifling heat, we adore coming here. The two of us are essentially a pair of grown up kids who never fully shed our adolescent skin upon reaching adulthood, and that’s what makes visiting these theme parks so much fun.
Can’t wait to come back for a weekend around Christmas, counting the days once more for a sunny Florida return!
