1967’s Watermark

the way

you

look

the way

you

kiss

i’d merrily

take

this

and hopefully

much

sooner rather than

(later)

, we’ll make marital sweet marital bliss ,

with white rice

to line

the traditional footway

and perhaps an altar

made of recycled bark

providing each

table plate tenant with a

ripe-for-the-plucking

bough offered pear,

for

on that day

i’ll quake

right at the

given moment

when I get to see what

way you’ve chosen

to

wear your

munificent hair. ~E.K.
