Christmas
Isn’t a holiday of anything,
Save colorful joy
And to explain
That while it’ll
Provide only seasonal
Inspiration and shine,
A duty is required
For spreading
That continuity onward
To keep any darkness
From arriving
In the form of
Burnt
Lumpy coal.
