The weather yesterday in the US Northeast was absolutely nutty.
It felt like we were in the middle of hurricane season and Summer was getting ready for it’s yearly passing of the guard into Fall.
Our area was hit with very intense winds, but luckily not the thunder and power outages that were originally predicted.
Trees outside of our condo bent and whipped around in ways that I never knew to be possible.
We took some of our isolation food stock and made whole wheat bagels for breakfast/lunch and chicken for dinner the day prior, in the event that our area lost power during the storms.
By 6:00pm however, the sun was out once again and shining brightly.
As is the case again this morning, which is a welcomed relief.
Isolation is taking it’s mental/physical toll on most people, but having a nice view and a warming Spring day to embrace makes all the difference.
And also a good book, of course 🙂
Hope everyone is having a great start to the week!
