Gentle Whisperings

She was dressed in pink as the sun started to creep up over the mountain line.

Our tiny hamlet basked in solitude, as did we, but on this particular morning I felt as if there were an audience.

Jagged boulders certainly had a way of expressing their emotions too.

Quiet as I’ll ever say, the surroundings were.

No wind to be heard, no animals foraging and moving playfully around in the fields.

It was still very early and much of the world had yet to be turned back on from the overnight lull.
